Chin-Chin

The only good thing that living in Portland ever did for me was introduce me to Chin-Chin.  Their album "Sounds of the West Way" was re-released by Mississppi records where I was introduced to it, almost 20 years after its original release.
Chin-Chin was started in 1982 in Beil Switzerland by Esther, Karin, and Marie-Anne in a time and place when their weren't a lot of female musicians. In 1985 they  released "Sounds of the West Way" and gained a fraction of the popularity they deserve, getting to tour along side bands like the Pouges, and The Shop Assistants. This is some goddamned good 80's indie new wave punk.
